Hello. Nice to meet you.

Hello, world! We are Rachel and Mick Posner. We’ve spent the last 10+ years working in the Deaf Education field and would like to share with you our knowledge in order to strengthen your organization and increase business with untapped niches.

Passionate. Knowledgeable. Visionary. Those are just a few words that can be used to describe Rachel.

Rachel has over 10+ experience in the Deaf Education field working as a certified teacher, advocate, assessor and consultant. Her current areas of focus is Domestic Violence, Deaf Education and Early Childhood Language Acquisition.

She also has been described as, “one of the most authentic people you’ll ever meet” (Mick agrees with this!) and is a sought-after public speaker because of her unique blend of personal experiences, humor and wisdom.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family (at home, she’s the mama bear to our two kids), traveling, catching up with friends and restoring vintage furniture (she isn’t afraid tackle big-time projects.)

The other half is Mick. Mostly dreamer, sometimes adventurist and upon request, philosopher.

Mick has 10+ years of experience in both Deaf Education and Vocational Rehabilitation fields. He has previously worked as an employment consultant for the State of CT and is currently a full-time ASL teacher at a public high school. Both he and Rachel also are adjunct professors of ASL at two different community colleges.

Mick is a widely sought-after speaker, having spoken on both local and national levels. He is also a well-known trainer and expert in many disciplines, including ADA laws, workplace accommodations, and job development.

When not working (or maintaining this site), Mick enjoys being with his family and planning the next adventure. Hobbies include: mountaineering, reading and taking landscape photos.
