Our Story + Inspiration = Achieve More

Rachel and Mick are available to give presentations, training seminars and/or workshops for adults, professionals and/or students. Current topics include:

:: Growing up Deaf, Raising Deaf Kids and Working as Deaf Professionals: We are an open book and often asked to share our experiences. By doing so, we aim to inspire people to achieve even more.

Both of us were told we’d never graduate college and have successful careers. We also cover what it is like living with a so-called disability (and why we don’t perceive ourselves as having one.) We encourage people to not look at the “dis” prefix but the root word: ability.

We believe that changing perspectives can enhance anyone’s abilities to reach their objectives.

:: Build More Bridges: You have a fantastic business. Your ideas are launching into the stratosphere… and you’re still thinking about something very critical: continued growth.

At Posner Inclusion, LLC, we do this by:

  • Fostering connections to specific, niche-rich communities such as the Deaf Community (in America, alone, there are 1 million+ American Sign Language users and some 20-million people with a degree of hearing loss.)
  • How do you make your company more accessible? Draw more clients? Attract talented recruits?
  • Together, we don’t come up with just answers using big, fancy words and colorful pie charts. We also develop working solutions for you.

:: Your Identity: Who are you? No, really. Who are you? What is your purpose? What drives you? How can you be an agent of positive change?

Identity is everything. It’s a way of thinking. How do you invest in your own journey?

It’s how you approach (and conquer) daily challenges, no matter how big or small. It’s all from within.

Our story is like yours. You’ll find that we have a lot in common. We have our experiences — good, bad and ugly. The answer lies in understanding how events shape your identity and why life is all about reaching the top of a mountain and then finding a new one to climb.

:: Youths in Transition: What are the tools, knowledge and resources our youths will require to succeed in a 21st century world? Where can our youths draw from their own experiences and turn it into strengths? How can our youths navigate an increasingly complex world and continue to become fully independent? The goal is to encourage empowerment through the facilitation of shared ideas.
